ECOCERT certification

ECOCERT is an internationally recognised organisation for the certification of food and cosmetic products. The defined quality criteria set a standard for natural and organic cosmetics. STYX Naturcosmetic has been working closely with ECOCERT since 2011 to guarantee the highest quality standards.

During the certification, each individual product is checked. Particular attention is paid to the origin and quality of the raw materials and the processing in the company. Everyone involved in the added value process – from the raw material supplier to marketing – are checked during the certification by ECOCERT. In an ongoing process and continual dialogue, the whole STYX product portfolio is adapted to the standards. Already certified products can be recognised by the ECOCERT logo.

Austria organic guarantee

Austria Bio Garantie GmbH (ABG) was founded in 1993 and the first certificatide office for organic products in Austria. Their business covers inspection and certification of organic products throughout the whole food chain. The ABG is operating commissioned by the food safety authorities. Products certified by ABG are identified by our code number:
AT-BIO-301. Many of our handmade chocolates, as well as our hemp and poppy products, carry this organic label.

ICADA

ICADA (International Cosmetic and Device Association) is a European service and lobby association in the field of preparative cosmetics, apparative cosmetics, natural detergents and cleansers as well as food supplements. ICADA, with its more than 20 years of experience, offers a premium label for organic and natural cosmetics, which is particularly strict and reliable due to the double control system, and close to nature due to the permission of relatively few additives (short positive list).

IHTN – Cruelty free cosmetics

STYX is a member of the Internationalen Herstellerverband für tierschutzgeprüfte Naturkosmetik, Kosmetik und Naturwaren e.V. [International Manufactory Association against Animal Testing in Cosmetics] (IHTN). This guarantees that the product range is manufactured without animal testing.

It is important to us to inform customers about the ingredients of our products in the best possible way. That is why we mark ecologically particularly high-quality products with our own labels:

with BIO active ingredients: This label indicates ingredients in natural cosmetic products that are of organic origin and/or wildcrafted.
100% certified natural cosmetics: This label identifies natural cosmetic products that have been tested according to the standards of established, international certification bodies such as ICADA or ECOCERT.
